Everything on this site I either use, have used, or created for use in my APHG class. Feel free to take any of my ideas and format them to your class as you see fit. The purpose of this site is not to bombard you with material, but to provide you the basics and a framework that will allow you to have a foundation for the class. Once you have developed a firm foundation, then begin to add additional materials as you see fit. You can also use the video lectures I have developed on my youtube channel as a supplement to most topics in the class. Whenever you see an assignment that involves reading, it corresponds to the appropriate chapters in the Rubenstein text. You may need to adjust if you use a different text.
The website will be divided by unit, in the same order I teach my class. Each page will have the same format, so information and materials should be easy to find.
Lastly, I believe in the culminating task, and as a result, each unit comes with a unit long assignment (usually the country profile). This helps students to see how the information in class applies to specific people and countries around the world. I will include my Profile assignment for each unit, but feel free to edit and amend as you like.
